1. Drilling mud level monitoring system for oilfields:
In 2016, ElMetro in collaboration with Halliburton completed a project at the Odoptu oilfield (Sakhalin). The work was connected to the liquid level monitoring system automation in reservoirs for the drilling mud storing using our own produced devices - multichannel Videographic paperless recorders ElMetro-ViER -104K.
The drilling mud used in the process of wells conservation, is stored in tanks. The level of mud in the tanks is controlled by level gauges. Collection, visualization, storage of information, signaling management, data transfer to SCADA system and control of other components of the process control system is accomplished by ElMetro-ViER recorders.
The project was completed on a turnkey basis in the shortest possible time. The quality and speed of the project provided an opportunity to ElMetro to conclude preliminary agreements with Halliburton on the automation of another similar project.
2. Automation system of bulk plant petroleum depot operation
Unlike traditional measurements of oil products intake and oil products release, ElMetro enterprise offers a comprehensive solution, including both quantitative and qualitative measurements, as well for the product storage process.
As you know, to determine the amount of oil product, it is correct to measure the mass, but not the volume. The automation system makes it possible to track the quantity and quality of petroleum products both dynamically (when draining and pouring) and statically in tanks of various heights and different volumes.
At the process of oil products intake and oil products release, we propose to use multiparameter Coriolis flowmeters ElMetro-Flomac of our own production. These devices provide an opportunity to measure the mass and density of petroleum products, taking into account temperature and pressure.
Oil and oil products consumers surveys show that quality monitoring of the final product is no less important than metering its quantity. Receiving an expensive product from bases, pipelines, railway or motor transport, there are always quality related issues. Flowmeter ElMetro-Flomaс provides an opportunity to determine the amount of water in the oil or oil product, automatically track the fractional composition and the average density of oil product.
Measuring the amount of oil in tanks, the automation system makes it possible to determine the volume, mass of oil, the percentage of water, the average and layer-by-layer density measurement, the average and layer-by-layer temperature measurement in the tank automatically. The metrological characteristics of the system measuring parameters of petroleum products are given in the table below:

The usage of flowmeters ElMetro-Flomac make it possible to estimate the water content in the process of pumping into the tank even before oil product settling.
Measured data is transmitted to the dispatching system (operator‘s automatic workplace), it can be processed and transferred to the regulatory authorities or the company's top management via the Internet.
